Hamford Studio staff seen training at Decoy Studios 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos reference room. The Dolby Atmos facilities are being extended into a separate building that will include addition space to work with emerging artists and provide support to Colour Sound. When we make a mix at Hamford a Dolby Atmos mix can be checked and mastered in the Decoy Studios reference rooms.

To satisfy this requirement major Recording Studios are building Certified Dolby reference rooms and installing equipment as fast as they can. For artists with back catalogues on popular play lists, and new artist releases, being on Spotify and Apple play lists really help promote their material.
For emerging bands and independents they need Spotify and Apple play lists to help them grow their followers. So for them too it will become critical to have a mix converted to this format.
Hamford Studio is capable of mixing in Dolby Atmos
The studio is equipped with Pro Tools Ultimate and the Dolby Atmos Production Suite. Apple Airpod Max reference headphones are used along with the certified Dolby Atmos reference room in Decoy Studios. Training in this new format is underway jointly with Decoy Studios. Contact us if you want to convert a stereo mix to 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos.

As a result we have a first rate facility for young bands and artists who are striving to break into the Music Industry. Former staff from Decoy Studios, have helped us to provide an environment attractive to young engineers and producers as well as bands.
